40th Annual Peacemakers Championship
The purpose of competition is to improve oneself. Competition is important because it provides the occasion to formally express your ability. Tournaments are meant to foster organization, teamwork, and true martial arts spirit and friendship. It's also a great opportunity to exchange technical ideas, in practice, and the chance to review one's own technique and the techniques of others.
In the spirit of competition, many people may become obsessed with winning or getting a trophy. Grandmaster Kim teaches us that honest effort and a good attitude make a true champion. It takes courage to rise up against external forces, but the real opponent is not someone else. The real opponent is yourself.
Kim's College of Martial Arts will be gearing up for our 40th Annual Peacemakers Championship for May 11, 2019!
Our tournament is in-house, but we do invite a few other WTMA sanctioned schools to compete. This is not an open tournament.
